Looking for suggestions here. The corporate events we do have a start/end time. Most entertainers go from one event to another on a week-end and can’t stay longer than the time we are paid for. I hang this sign on the last person I can accommodate. There are actually two of these. One that hangs in the front and one that hangs in the back. I also number (with white face paint so no one can try to duplicate with a pen they happen to have with them) the children on their hands starting with the highest number and going back to #1 – so I know how many I have to finish in the allotted time. I still get people who try to argue about 1) I was waiting in line and you missed me (I take a picture of line with my cell when I’m done numbering). 2) They are saving spots for their 4 kids who are in another line (totally not fair to the children who ARE waiting in my line) 3) Can you do “just one more?” please note the last line on my sign. I don’t have time to argue with anyone as I’m trying to finish up the line in time for me to get to my next event. If you’re not an entertainer, I would like to know if there is something else I could do to help people understand that I’m really done. I thought about hanging a sign on myself that says “I’m really done and don’t have time to talk about it” or something like that…. thoughts?
